Prices were reasonable and the waitress was efficient and friendly, when she could justifiably have been rushed off her feet and grumpy. I thought the prices were more than fair for the location and quality. A great place to sit outside on a nice sunny day, drink a beer, and watch the world go by.

The stained glass window panes reproduce works by Old Masters such as Dürer and Breughel. Many of the prints lining the wood-panelled walls are amusing and worth more than just a cursory glance. There are pewter plates and mugs galore, interesting glass portraits of notable figures from the past and a number of showcases add even more local colour. The in some cases, communual tables encourage conviviality.We had a reasonable lunch here .
I stayed for two nights during a weekend in September. The hotel is very interesting, with unusual color schemes, signs, and decor. The M+ rooms are comfortable and air conditioned.

Stayed 2 nights in August 2013, and was a little overwhelmed by the juxtaposition of an amazing 4-star hotel with the standard of service by the staff at the level of a youth hostel. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days in September. Had absolutely no complaints with the room, service, bar, or restaurant. I've been there with my friend twice in a weekend, we liked it too much. I would cheerfully recommend this hotel, but would be happier to recommend if the staff were a little more friendly with a little less attitude. There is a tram-stop almost right outside the front door of the hotel, and the heart of Frankfurt is less than 15 minutes away by tram. There are a number of points of interest on the way in to the heart of Frankfurt by tram, so I would recommend using this form of transportation. The hotel does sell tickets , and getting around by tram is really quite easy.
I overheard her telling a customer on the telephone that parking on the street was free and untimed , but trying to confirm this with her was like pulling teeth. All in all, I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again on future trips. We had a purple room with a window facing the main street - had no issues with noise. If you sit outside, go and sit down, the staff will bring you a menu and you can order, as long as you get their attention. It was fairly empty when I went on a Saturday night . Food was decent- the pork scnitzel was good, probably enough for 2 people and the fries were good, but I feel like it could have been better. The side salad had too much dressing, which made it not that appetizing. There was a parking bay outside the hotel where we unloaded our bags, and when we asked the receptionist if parking was available she responded with "No, our hotel parks are full, sorry". Us asking then about the availability of parking near the hotel was met with a rolling of the eyes and the same response - our hotel parking is full.
The hotel is convenient to the subway and several good restaurants are nearby. The whole place had a really hipster vibe that we liked. All the staff we had contact with were very friendly - the day time server/bartender in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful.
It is a pleasing mix of chic and bohemian, modern art meets conservation and civil rights, and you get the feeling that both Andy Warhol, David Attenborough and Albert Einstein would all be most happy here. The lounge area was quite busy each night and they had a photography exhibit going on during our first night stay. It was a nice place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing.
